Guess whose back, back again…Killwood’s back, tell a friend…
Here’s to you! A massive shout-out to everyone who backed us on Kickstarter and made the Killwood vision a reality. This has been a wild ride, and we’ve come so far in the past six months, thanks to your support. From mere ideas and napkin sketches, we’ve progressed to successfully launch our first product BIKA on Kickstarter. We’ve created a product that has received worldwide attention from sites like Treehugger, and even premium lifestyle magazines like British GQ. But we haven’t stopped there.
We’re really excited to tell you about three extremely important Killwood milestones since being funded on Kickstarter.
1. Killwood BIKA at Circular Living Exhibition
It was an absolute honor to be displayed for an entire month at The Building Center for the Circular Living Exhibition in London. Bika was showcased with information about the Killwood movement, and the sustainable effort that pairs with producing and owning a Bika. Our story was told to thousands of attendees, which is invaluable to our brand. Our backers from the UK truly showed the prevalence of biking culture and sustainable mind-set across the pond. The pine beetle epidemic is largely a North American issue, but by raising awareness not just here, but around the world, Killwood can surpass beyond boundaries and create a global dialogue about global warming issues, and solutions.
2. Killwood BOTTO | Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks Special Edition
Let’s go back to our side of the pond – specifically our hometown of Vancouver, BC. The Vancouver craft beer scene has been exploding, and we have the perfect product for breweries to cater to thirsty craft beer advocates. We have partnered with Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks to cross-promote with a special edition BOTTO, which is only available through their retail store. They have an amazing beer selection and they are now the very first brewery to join the Killwood movement. Check out their website for more information.
3. Killwood BIKA Campaign on Touch of Modern
We are thrilled to announce that we have launched a campaign on Touch of Modern today! For five days only, BIKA will be offered on Touch of Modern, a premium online retailer that caters to millions of subscribers in North America to provide high-end fashion, art, and home décor. With its modern design and meticulous craftsmanship, Killwood BIKA is an ideal fit for TOMO’s upscale online store. Killwood BIKA is being promoted alongside brands such as Rolex and Hugo Boss, which is a truly humbling and exciting milestone. We can’t wait for you to see what’s next!
